Social Media Savant

Hello All!

​

My name is Jomi Adeniran. Currently, I am completing my Master of Business Administration at California State University, San Marcos.  I work with Cal State San Marcos Athletics as a member of the Game Management Staff and have had internships with Fullscreen Media and LakersNation.com. The skills and experiences I have gained at these positions make me an ideal candidate as a marketing/social media professional in sports and entertainment. 

 

As a member of Game Management Staff, I have developed strong skill sets in people and event relations. For example, one of my main duties is to craft creative ideas to market our teams and events to fans using various types of social media and other public events. I was also a volunteer with Fullscreen at Vidcon 2016 and an RTX Guardian at RTX 2017 while also being accepted into the RTX Guardian program of 2018.

Additionally, I have gained invaluable knowledge in marketing and research in my course study with my Master of Business Administration.  This includes MKTG 602, Marketing Management and MKTG 614, Global Marketing.  This enables me to uniquely position and brand a product or service in social media on a local, regional, national, or global basis. In particular, through my work with Fullscreen, I have become heavily involved in the current Internet trends including keeping up with the latest Internet influencers including Rooster Teeth, Brandon Armstrong, Binging with Babish, Sugar Pine 7 and many others. On my own, I am also constantly researching new marketing concepts to determine creative ways to impact a target market. I would love to bring this passion for marketing and creativity to a fun and exciting workplace.

 

All of my jobs have required meticulous writing and editing capabilities.  As a Communications Major and an intern at both Fullscreen and LakersNation, I have received praise for the clarity of my writing on dozens of pieces of work.  I consider my presentation skills one of my best attributes.  In my Master’s program, we are tasked with many presentations and I make sure it’s always entertaining, yet highly informative. An excellent example of that would be the Summer Trend Report I presented to the Fullscreen CEO and senior executive staff.
